My Story
I’m Rob Moore Jr., a Boston-based trading strategist and business consultant with a passion for building systems that deliver consistent, measurable results. My work sits at the intersection of financial markets and operational strategy — whether that’s an algorithmic trading tool or a business process overhaul, the core philosophy is the same: remove emotion, trust the data, and let the system work.
Trading Background
My trading journey led me deep into algorithmic strategy development on MT5. I built the 2-Min Strategy EA — a custom Expert Advisor based on EMA crossover signals (MA6/MA14) with MACD confidence scoring. The system targets the London/New York overlap session (13:00–16:00 GMT), which I identified as the highest-probability window after extensive backtesting and live demo execution on Pocket Option.
Primary pairs I work with: EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, GBPJPY. I focus on clean, trending price action and avoid thin, choppy conditions that erode edge.
Consulting Philosophy
Good consulting looks a lot like good trading: define your edge, size your risk, and execute with discipline. I bring that mindset to every client engagement — cutting through noise to find the signal, then building repeatable systems around it.
Beyond the Markets
When I’m not at the charts, I’m exploring — most recently spending time in the Philippines (Guimba, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac City). Travel sharpens perspective. Different markets, different cultures, the same human fundamentals.
